Virtuoso QA

See how Virtuoso QA works

Walk through a guided demo for a pension scheme: load your Knowledge Base and see how an AI Analyst and an AI Architect turn the Pensions Dashboards data-matching standard, SMPI guidance, and the TPR General Code into requirements and human-approved test journeys covering member match and retirement projection.

The AI Autopilot then writes a deterministic Virtuoso NLP test, which runs with self-healing selectors - so every member match is provably correct, not just delivered.

Dashboards Data-Matching Standard

Organization-level directiveChanges apply to every project in the organisation unless overridden at the project level.
Content
Core instruction: apply the Pensions Dashboards Programme's data-matching standard, SMPI methodology for retirement projections, and TPR General Code governance requirements when generating test requirements, test conditions, journeys, or test cases for any member match or retirement projection - using the uploaded regulatory documentation as a primary reference. For every requirement, user story, or business rule provided, the Analyst must: 1. Analyse the source material as a professional aligned to the Pensions Dashboards data-matching standard, SMPI, and TPR General Code obligations. 2. Derive clear, testable requirements confirming that a member match is classified correctly (match, possible match, or no match) per the dashboards matching criteria. 3. For any retirement projection shown to a member, require evidence that the projected figure was independently verified against the SMPI-compliant calculation - the numbers themselves must be asserted, not just that a figure was displayed. 4. Structure journeys and test cases around observable member- and regulator-facing outcomes, with clear objectives, preconditions, inputs, and expected results - including readiness ahead of the Pensions Dashboards connection deadline (31 Oct 2026). 5. Justify key decisions with citations from the regulatory knowledge base - never inventing a citation. If none applies, the Analyst must say so explicitly. The Analyst must apply this guidance rather than merely quoting it, must analyse the underlying test basis rather than surface-level acceptance criteria, and must flag any gaps in the source documentation rather than silently filling them in.
Every member match - provably correct.

The existing requirements provide good coverage for the primary success paths. However, I identified three gaps not explicitly covered by the BRD:

  1. Member Match Input Validation (BR-002, BR-003) - not covered by the existing match-focused negative scenario.
  2. Retirement Projection Traceability (SMPI) - the projected figure must be independently verifiable, not just displayed; not currently tested.
  3. Dashboards Data-Matching Compliance and Connection Deadline Readiness - match classification, TPR governance, and connection-deadline evidence must be addressed together; not addressed by existing functional tests.

I've generated three new requirements to close these gaps, applying the organisation's Dashboards Data-Matching Standard directive throughout.

Dashboards Data-Matching Compliance and Connection Deadline Readiness

Overview
Journeys 0
Summary

The purpose of this requirement is to ensure member match responses are classified correctly per the Pensions Dashboards data-matching standard, and that the match calculation itself completes within the standard's required threshold. It also confirms TPR General Code governance requirements are met, and that the scheme is evidenced as ready ahead of the 31 October 2026 connection deadline.

Description

Dashboards Data-Matching Compliance and Connection Deadline Readiness Validation

This requirement validates that member match responses are classified correctly per the Pensions Dashboards data-matching standard, that TPR General Code governance requirements are met, and that the scheme is evidenced as ready ahead of the connection deadline.

Requirement: Dashboards Data-Matching Compliance and Connection Deadline Readiness

🧭 New structured journeys
💬 Chat history

I have designed five test journeys to validate the dashboards data-matching compliance and connection deadline readiness requirement, as specified in this requirement.

These journeys cover:

  1. Response time for a member match request.
  2. The full member match and retirement projection flow end to end.
  3. Existence of an audit trail confirming the projected figure was independently verified against the SMPI-compliant calculation.

I've created corresponding data tables to drive these tests and a new environment for the base URL. Please review the proposed journeys.

Member Match to Retirement Projection
Journey summary
This journey submits a member match request, confirms the match classification, retrieves the retirement projection, and asserts the projected figures independently against the SMPI-compliant calculation, within the standard's required threshold.
Checkpoints

Checkpoint 1: Submit Member Match Request

Assuming the user is already logged in, go to the base URL, open the Member Search section, and submit a match request using the member's name, date of birth, and National Insurance number.

Checkpoint 2: Retrieve Projection and Assert the Numbers

Confirm the match classification, then start timing. Click Get projection, wait for the retirement projection to calculate, and stop timing once it's finished. Assert that the calculation completed within the standard's required threshold, then assert the projected annual income matches the independently-calculated SMPI-compliant value.
